Don CaronChairman, CEO and President of Bri-Chem Corp.
Mr. Caron is President, Director, and CEO of BRC Advisors Inc., a private equity company that takes an active interest in the management and growth of diversified companies. Mr. Caron has extensive experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions for emerging companies. He has been involved in advising public companies with respect to a variety of transactions including initial public offerings, private placements, stock exchange listings, capital pool offerings, qualifying transactions, and mergers & acquisitions. He has also provided advice on a broad variety of corporate transactions including acquisitions and divestitures, equity and debt financings and corporate restructurings. Prior to his involvement with Western America, Mr. Caron articled for an international chartered accounting firm in public practice. Mr. Caron became CEO and President of Bri-Chem Corp. on May 1, 2009.
Eric SauzeDirector, Chairman of the Audit Committee
Eric is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Eric was the former Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Solutions Inc., a public company traded on the TSX. Eric is currently working as a consultant, assisting emerging companies with debt and equity financings and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Commercial Solutions Inc., Eric was a senior auditor with the international accounting firm KPMG, in their Vancouver office. His responsibilities included the audit of financial offering prospectuses for Toronto Stock Exchange listed companies in the forestry, utility and distribution industries. Eric has earned a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Lethbridge, and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Alberta.
Brian Campbell founded Bri-Chem Supply Ltd. in 1985 and was the President of Bri-Chem Supply and Sodium Solutions Inc. until November 2011. Brian has extensive knowledge of warehousing product, and experience in costing and managing inventory levels. In the past, Brian was involved with other fluid companies, before starting Bri-Chem Supply.
Albert Sharp has been in the oilfield for over 38 years and has served on various boards from non-profits to large private companies. Most recently, Mr. Sharp was the Chief Operating Officer of Altus Geomatics, a partnership under the Altus Group Income Fund. Mr. Sharp has been on the advisory board of the Alberta Vocational College at Lesser Slave Lake and is a member of many organizations, including the Canadian Institute of Geomatics and the Alberta Association of Land Agents.
